Rose Social Baldivis
My husband and I were married at The rose social in February 2021 and the experience was wonderful. The day of was incredible, and went off without a hitch. The celebrant Bel was just amazing, food from Red Devil Catering was excellent, the venue was beautiful, the owner Agnes was great, along with so many others made the planning process easy and enjoyable. They were responsive, flexible, and always professional, and went out of their way to accommodate most of our requests. We made some friends for life during our wonderful experience.

Fabulous park to see native plants. Very well kept. Lots of seats for rests. Beautiful views over Perth. Very peaceful just wandering around among the towering trees. Great raised walkway looking down on gardens. Plants and trees are all named.

Really nice place to spend a couple of hours, more if you bring a picnic (recommended) although there is a cafe there.Nice to visit in the different seasons and look out for their events such as chilli festival and Carol singers evening.

Let's play mini golf! This place is near my accommodation. We arrived around 3:30 p.m. I thought the weather would be hot. Unexpectedly, the weather is pretty good for me (I'm from a relatively hot country. The trees help keep the temperature down.I love this place. You pay, and then you get golf clubs and golf balls. If you want a colourful golf ball, you can buy it. And after that enjoy it. It is an activity suitable for family and friends. You can choose to come here at night. The trees are decorated with pretty lights. You will experience another atmosphere. There is also a restaurant inside which one menu is delicious for the opinion of the three people who went that day.Oh…if you are coming at night, please prepare insect repellant spray too.

Although very few flowers are in bloom this time of year we loved our stroll through the gardens and coffee at the Roundhouse Cafe (opens at 10). The lady at the entry was lovely and the grounds are really well kept. It was so peaceful and green. I can’t wait to come back in spring.

Rose social is a wonderful place! Beautiful garden with gorgeous roses. A nice place for high tea. Agnes, the host, makes you feel truly welcome and her energy is infectious. I would also recommend trying her rose petal jam - it is amazing!

A Maze'n Margaret River
Loved the gardens! What a wonderful day spent outside. Lots of secret gnomes and statues and treasures hidden amongst the sprawling gardens outside the maze. The maze itself was a lot of fun and I can appreciate the hard work into creating the entire landscape. Great for all ages.

Fantastic experience at the Rio Tinto Naturescape in Kings Park. We were there when it was drizzling rain and everyone in our group from the 3yr old to the 68yr old still had an adventurous and wonderful time. The facilities are spectacular, easy to navigate but still challenging, and you feel like you could keep exploring for days.

Albany's Historic Whaling Station
100% must visit, great value for money for the whole family. Such a unique museum and gallery that I don't think you will ever see anywhere else. Oh how our hearts were moved by the stories of the whalers and the whales and the sharks. Really eye opening for the kids (8 and 10 yo) to see the different perspectives of the whaling industry, in the context of its time. The whaling ship - amazing.Includes entry to the wildflower and wildlife park next door.I would say, spend at least half a day here.
